And they say the world is undergoing a financial crisis. Nintendo President Satoru Iwata told Reuters that 800,000 Nintendo Wii&#8217;s were sold in the USA alone. How&#8217;s that for a business?<br /> That simply means one of two things, either the world has no recession, or the Wii is out of this world so that whatever happens &#8216;in&#8217; this world doesn&#8217;t affect Wii sales!<br /> This was twice as much as the sales same period last year. Even sales of the Nintendo DS went up by 20%. The explanation given by the president of Nintendo corporation was pretty interesting. He said that if your financial status is good, people would by one of the top three things in your shopping list. But if the economy is bad, people would buy what&#8217;s at the top of their list. And guess what was on the top of the list?
