Nintendo's Wii Fit Bundle is going to be sued by a mother from Colorado. Actually that is an incorrect statement, it's not the wii bundle, but it's the Nintendo corporation that she is going to sue. The reason? Because the wrist strap attached to the Nunchuck came off, and the Wii controller went flying on to the 52 inch Samsung television damaging it. How much do you reckon one of these TVs would cost nowadays? Well not too much more than a $1000, but how much is she suing Nintendo for? US$5,000,000. Yes that's a staggering five million bucks. So what do you think? Will she win the law suit? I gues we'll have to wait and see. But you would think Nintendo would be ready for this kind of thing and would release some kind of disclosure together with the Wii Fit Bundle and Nunchuk documentation. Actually they did, however the legal team that's suing them in this case is saying that they were not specific enough about the 'defective' nature of it. What do you think? They're going to win? In yet another news published this week (thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article2057692.ece), they say that 10 Wii users are being hospitalized every week as excessive use of the Nintendo Wii. But, that is 10 users our of how many millions? You tell me!
